Starting Over

  • Playing: The game called "Life".
I've been through the Emo stage, the Ego stage, and the stage where I drew 9384584 wolves/dragons in the same three poses.

But you know what? I want to start taking this whole art thing seriously. It's time to begin working on a serious portfolio for a serious art school, because I've decided that the one thing that I will be happy doing for the rest of my life is arranging colors and lines on a blank plane.
So you want to be an artist? Yeah. Yeah, I do.

I went through this silly gallery and deleted some of the most embarassing things. What I want from now on is hardcore critique. No more of the ego-feeding pats on the ass of "It's so pretty!" From now on, tell me what you like and don't like about what I put out there, so that I can work and improve on the little shreds of skill that I've got.

And those are my two cents of experience gathered over the past artfully-silent year.

I actually think that "chich" could become a pretty epic slang word. Use it, see if it catches on.
